Vivo has officially announced Android 12 version which is based on Funtouch OS 12 and today Vivo has scheduled the rollout of Android 12 based on Funtouch OS 12 beta version for its Vivo X, V, Y and S series smartphones in India. As expected, Vivo X70 Pro+ will be the first Device to receive the Funtouch OS 12 update by the end of November; Alongside Vivo X70 Pro+, other phones which are eligible for the update include Vivo X70, X60 Pro+, X60 Pro, X60, V21, Y72 5G ,Vivo V21e, V20 2021, V20, Y21, Y51A and Y31. on the other hand vivo has also included Old Vivo phones which has also updated to Funtouch OS 12 Update Old Vivo phones like Vivo S1 and Y19 will receive the update. On the other hand, Vivo V17 Pro, V17, S1 Pro, Y73, Y51, Y20, Y20i and Y30 will get Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12 around the same time. Vivo has also revealed that Vivo X50 Pro, X50, V20 Pro, V20 SE, Y33s, Y20G, Y53s and Y12s will be eligible for the FunTouch OS 12 version in April 2022. The Chinese smartphone maker is yet to announce details of the stable update. Vivo (via techwithsurya) had earlier announced that the Funtouch OS 12 would bring the newly redesigned widgets and nano music player.

Vivo keep good work we might even see more devices getting the update to Android 12 before the end of the year compared to the Android 11 rollout.
Vivo usually provided 2 major OS updates to most smartphones. However, it does not guarantee that device are getting major upgrade. This makes it a tad tricky to figure out which models will get the upcoming Android update and which ones won’t. So it’s likely that most, if not all, Vivo phones that launched with Android 10 or Android 11 out of the box should get the update to Android 12. Although, some low-end models might not get the same treatment.
